Horror Is Dead is the by-product of combining three tattooed gentlemen from Chicago, B-horror films, and hard, fast punk rock. Horror Is Dead started in 2006, and consists of members Johnny Marland, Mark Harrison, and Brian Leh. Heavily influenced by pop-punk and horror punk, the band employs thematic elements reminiscent of 1950’s horror films to generate the chaotic sound.
